Радіо "СКРИНЯ"
Radio Skrynia is a new non profit project that is raising awareness of Ukrainian music and promoting its various styles using modern communications. Thanks to new technology Skrynia can be heard anytime and anywhere with Internet access. It’s especially critical in places where there are no Ukrainian mass media available. This is an important aspect not only for Ukrainians around the world – but also for some regions in Ukraine.
Skrynia’s web-site offers ability to listen to Ukrainian songs, read Ukrainian music news, review photographs and video clips of Ukrainian performers and link to the musicians’ web-sites. As long as you have access to the Internet - all of this is offered to you for free. Skrynia has separate radio channels that play music of various styles. This allows listeners to customize their Skrynia experience according to their tastes and preferences. You can review Radio Skrynia’s web-site and listen to one of its radio channels at www.skrynia.com Skrynia has been created and is being maintained by Ukrainian music enthusiasts in Toronto. In a very short time thousands of Ukrainians from all over the world became to love Skrynia. Moreover, very often Skrynia is the only means of promotion for young unknown Ukrainian music artists. However, this project’s survival depends on certain technical resources, e.g. rent of a server, access to the communication channels, etc. So listen to Skrynia yourself, tell others about us and support us!
